Van Stolkpark

The van Stolkpark gets its name from mr. Thomas van Stolk. The lawyer bought pieces of dune land in 1872 to create a villa park designed by Jan David and Louis Paul Zocker. There were also a few hotels and guest houses.

The Van Stolkpark is still characterized by its villas and luxurious living environment. There are also various embassies. Characteristic is the large water feature on the east side of the park where the Indian monument is also located. The neighborhood is also surrounded by many parks such as Westbroekpark, Hubertuspark, Nieuwe Scheveningse Bosjes. Dunes and beach are close by.
The van Stolkpark is attractive for families with children, middle-aged couples and expats.
